Wyoming Booner
OlSpark and I just finished up our Wyoming Antelope hunt with SnS Outfitters. We finally drew unit 115 tags after 4 years of points and needless to say our guide was very picky for us. We had a horseback hunt that we covered lots of ground adn looked at a ton of antelope. After passing on multiple big bucks, we both took great bucks right at the end of the day. I'm super proud of this buck as he makes 17" in height but to be honest, I would have taken one earlier in the day and been happy.

bigbrother, You said you would have been happy taking a buck earlier in the day. Do you kow how far between are 17 inch bucks? They usually don't get a chance to live long enough to achieve large size. You should be very proud of that buck.

This is OlSpark's buck, he just missed the B&C book because of his broken cutter. The mass was incredible and the 6+" cutter with some busted off didn't hurt any for score!

Larry, Thanks and very true! Our guide knew my buck was in the area and I believe that's why he had me hold off on all of the other good bucks that we saw. He was super excited about the size of both of the antelope that we took.

bigbrother, I owe you any apology for the hard time I give long range shooters. I have done that occasionally on "500 Yards +". It is obvious that your practice paid off and "you do have the ability". You have said it and it is true; each shooter has to evaluate the shot to know whether or not to pull the trigger. I apologize.

Larry, none really needed. I feel bad for my response as well. That statement is very true and very basic. The horrible truth is however, that most people aren't honest with themselves or their ability and all of us as hunters end up defending ourselves.
Thanks again for the compliments.

Congratulations on a fantastic antelope. Hunting for them on horseback must have been fun.

Thanks MT. It was a great time. The horses that SnS uses are a hybrid Belgian, Quarter Horse so they were BIG! Once you climbed on you certainly didn't want to fall off cause from that high up you would most certainly get hurt LOL.
In reality, the horses were great and the antelope paid little attention to us while on the horses. Once off, it was a different story however. Riding back down in the dark was an experience that everyone should have!
