Sounds like the Turkentauben are getting around ![]() COLLARED TURTLE DOVE / TURKENTAUBE: Originally from India, the “Kleine Taube” was first seen in Bavaria in 1947 and has since spread all across Germany. The Collared Turtledove has a prominent black stripe on the rear and sides of the neck, a white patch on the throat, and white bars on the wings. The turtledove's call is a coo coo. They frequent gardens and prefer to nest in Pear Trees. |
