Wyoming statutes is actually no permit..unless you want to get a carry license which is of course good in other states but not all. If I get a license and qualify with a revolver..all I could carry would be a revolver. If you qualify with a semi auto pistol..you can carry anything. Doesn't make sense to me but that is the law here. The best is that there is no permit/license required to carry in the state of Wyoming..and I am pretty certain that is good for nonresidents too.

Nevada changed their CCW requirements awhile back. Before you had to qualify with the make and caliber that you intended to carry and that weapon went on the back of your permit. Now you qualify with a semi-auto and you can carry any semi-auto. Likewise with a revolver.

Yep, FL CWP is pretty much accepted in any state that has a CW at all, except NV, so NV and FL got into a pissing contest, now NV is NOT accepted in FL. FL also has an, other state's law reciprocal law, whatever you do to a FL resident in your state applies to your residents.

You see FL has a Concealed Weapons Permit not a gun permit, a very important distinction, so no provision for qualification and the reason is very simple, as you can carry a gun, automatic knife or a slap jack with a CWP in FL, without list or restriction except in specific places such as bars, church, police stations, etc.
