My ammo supplier went and put the Norc 7.62 ammo on sale....So the guy I shared the original crate I bought went and ordered 2 more crates! I offered to split costs on one of those crates. Knowing this ammo supply will dry up and the next bunch might be years away and very expensive he doesn't want to sell any of it....so I ordered another crate for myself

1500 rounds should last me a while LOL

Has that M14 got the roller bearing on the rf of the bolt? I had to keep Lubriplate on the ones I was issued to keep them from stripping off! Still, I loved mine!

Quick range report on Le M305.

It functioned absolutely flawlessly!! I am very very pleased that I decided to take the plunge and purchase this rifle. I love it!! The trigger is fairly heavy as I expected, but crisp and true with no creep. Accuracy was at least as good as I expected as well. Groups about 2" with my poor eyesight. After a bit of playing and getting it zeroed at 100 yards I had Davemachine spot me while I took on the 400 yard manhole cover. I can barely see it at that range!! Once I was able to get my POI down with Daves help, I hit it 4 shots in a row.

ZERO malfunctions, both magazines(NOT CLIPS)help good and fed properly. All in all, one of my favorite rifles I have ever owned!! Cannot wait to go shoot it some more!!

I also picked up a M14 service pack made by W.C. Wolff. Has all the springs. As it sits that rifle has no firing issues, so I am not going to change any springs out yet....I am going to mount the Aimpoint tonight and see how it feels, then see from that if I am going to need a cheek riser, and if so I can start looking to see what I can find or make.

Installed the CASM. Was really easy to install with their directions and the Youtube video. And seems very solid.

installed the PRO, then took it off and REMOVED the spacer....was WAY too high!!! Still will need a cheek riser....

Tac Pro cheek riser installed and out to the range I went. I love this optic for ranges out to 200 yards....past that I need a pretty big and bright target or I just cant see it.

The Aimpoint PRO has a QD base....so I may at some point purchase a scope for this rifle and also install QD bases. My 2nd option is a Scout handguard and a magnifier for the PRO...

I am so happy with this purchase, it is really fun to shoot and making the gong ring out at 400 yards isn't too much work
