Bear are Moving In

Due to a bummer food growing season on natural food, Blacks are being relocated back to hills in great numbers........getting food sources in town. CPW has tranced and moved upwards of 9 and one moose in the last 3 days....this in the Denver metro. Loss of habitat and food source is blamed.

State wide, bear population has increased dramatically, trouble is the huggies don't want them killed. Expanded seasons are still on hold.

Baiting for my 12 year old grandson, lots of bears in northern WI, too bad it is 500 miles round trip to bait, but hopefully he gets one in two weeks.

I live pretty much on an island and the Blacks have gotten real bold, walking around on the golf course, swimming in back yard pools, lounging on condo back decks at the beach and chased a bunch of tourists around the parking lot and up on their cars at a local super market. Eglin AFB has issued a bunch of bear permits for the coming deer season, normally hunting bears is a no-no.

Of course, having the woman mauled while walking her dog was not a good move for Mr Bruin either.

Best part is there is no discharging of firearms in the city limits ..... Feel like I need to carry a 45-70 to take the trash out.
