Prices of muzzleloader parts
Have you good folks seen the prices of muzzleloader gun parts? I needed a touch hole liner for a Lyman Trade Rifle and went online. The current cost is $7.75 each. Fortunately, I found several in my stash and noted that I bought them for $2.49 each a few years ago. Wow! I suspect that many of these parts are imported and something seems terribly wrong. All the best...

I've thought about getting into BP for a few years, every time I get kinda serious.....I remind myself of the stuff I have in safes that I seldom fire.
Like every thing else, sounds like it has escalated! Dan

There is hope
I found exactly what I needed while browsing the Graf & Sons website. The touch hole liners I needed are $3.35 each so I ordered several. All the best...

Dan & Gil,
The prices are going UP! I needed a M1903 Springfield ejector and ejector pin. Back in the 1960s, when the M1903 went for $25, the ejector was $1.25 and pin $.50. At the last Morris gun show, the M1903 in "Good" condition was $750.00. I found two each NEW ejectors and pins for $20.00. My M1903 works great and I have a spare, in case of future need. Those 90-cent haircuts, 25.9-cent a gallon gas and $100 cars are LONG GONE! Welcome to the Present.... Adam
