One more Egyptian Hakim 8X57MM Rifle.
The 8MM Hakim is a real piece of work. Everyone should have at least one just to understand the mechanics of Middle East arms! I have a few and just got another because the price was so low and the rifle was Excellent in and out.

Hey Adam, I had to look that one up, interesting and hope you enjoy it!
I don't have a Hakim, but I do have an 8x57, built and picked up personally by me from Heym Factory. It's a 26B, an over / under in 8x57JRS. |

Dom,
The Hakim is a circa 1950s 10-shot semi-auto that closely resembles the Swedish Ljungman 6.5x55MM. In fact it takes the same bayonet. I have several bolt action 8x57MM rifles and use mostly cast bullets in them. I like your rifle, I will swap my latest Hakim straight across. LOL! Be well. Adam

I bet you would do a straight trade Adam, lol. I did a quick read up on the Hakim, glad to hear you enjoying your rifles and cast bullets, something I've yet to get into.
I do have a couple semi-auto's, but they are modern age. Rem 7400 '06, Sauer 303 in 9,3x62 and a couple ARs in 5,56 and 450BM. |
