I second the notion of behaving and not getting drunk on your 19th...that's what 21 is for. But, two years from now, look forward to self destruction - I know very few who resisted.
Anyways, happy birthday!

So Jack, that was you I seen on the other side of the field that day?...hunting.....I spent my 19th in the Army....Ice.....just enjoy the day and hope you have many more B days to follow. When 12..couldn't wait till 16th....when 16....looked for 21..then 25...I have to say I enjoy my years now but 26-29 I have to say were the greatest...next thing I knew...been a long time ago and wouldn't mind a chance to do it again....do the same way too..so make a memory every day....never know when you have to look back and say....yep...been there and done that....be proud of what you do.....enjoy peace of mind..it goes a long way...
You only see what you look for. You only see what you are looking for.

Hello Ice Princess,
Sudbury in January, eh? May I suggest you take a trip down south to thaw out? I've only been to Sudbury once, and my everlasting impression was, "I'd never seen so much rock in my life." You've done some excellent work in modernizing your city. Now I'd suggest you guys whip out the paint brushes and paint all that rock a nice green colour. Enjoy you birthday. Best wishes. That was almost 30 years ago, but if my memory isn't too faulty, I was getting ready for deer season.
My 16th birthday was just in time to let me learn to drive in the snow. Being born at the end of November always left me with something to do with snow or getting ready for it on my birthday. My 19th birthday doesn't stand out as spectacular, but neither does my 21st. I was old enough to drink alcohol legally then, but I'd been drinking long enough that it was no big deal. The older we get, the less our birthday aniversaries mean to us. I was born in 1956. I'm 39 now. My daughter's boyfriend is 38. I guess I'll have to advance a few years soon. My dad must be 49. I guess he'll have to age a bit too. All I can say is; "Enjoy your youth while you can, then enjoy the youth of your kids." ![]() |
