I picked up a fairly matched set of Ruger American Ranch Rifles. One in 7.62x39, the other in 5.56x45. Both are very accurate and I am loading for them both.

Found a nice late-Fifties Ithaca 37 in 16 gauge for the wife. Had to have the stock cut down to an 11.5" pull for her little short arms though.

Adam, you know I flip some of the guns etc that I buy. Fellow gave me a 98 Mauser that was slightly ruined shall we say...as far as military collectible wise. I gave it to a friend with some ammo. He has had some wolf problems lately. So now he has a rifle if they come killing his sheep and goats again. . Yes we really do have a problem or 3 with those wolves all those people from the east and left coasts made us live with. They killed one of a neighbors pregnant cows this spring....on my place though. Looks as though some judge from somewhere else has decided to stop the grizzly bear hunt here and Idaho. The grizzlies continue to hunt humans though.LOL
Ward those ol 37s are nice guns. 16s for some reason are coming back in vogue somewhat. Since July I have mainly been to yard/garage sales and have found some stuff. Bought a few things at a gun show in Bozeman Mt. Rem 552 22 semi auto for the grand sum of 55 dollars. Yeah it were ugly kinda. And from the same fellow I found a kinda rare 38 cal bullet mold. Single cavity 358 93 Spire point bullet. 15 bucks. New in box. got some other bullet molds for 15-20 bucks each. 5 cans of IMR 4350 powder and 3 H4350. Same lot number in respective brands. Paid 15 dollars for them also. Cleaned that ol Remington up and took a small dent out of the mag tube and it shoots just fine. Friend is refinishing the stock for me now. Grandson will get the gun. Yesterday yard sales 10 boxes of Magtech 9mm 115 FMJ ammo for 7 bucks a box 2 hundred rounds once fired 327 Fed brass for a nickle a piece a box of 32 S&W L Rem ammo for 12 bucks and 2 Burris handgun scopes one was a 3-12 Variable with AO and the other 2-7 Variable AO. Both in the boxes for a killer price. Another garage sale i got a folding bipod for rifles for 50 cents and an ol Iver Johnson single shot 410 shotgun for 50 bucks. The best buy though was a like new Benelli Super Black Eagle camo shotgun with case 5 chokes no manual though for 700 bucks. Like I need another shotgun. Sold the 410 an hour later for 150 bucks. People just want old single shot 410s

Did the local small gun show on the 1st of December and did alright but not great. Did get the buy of the show though..,A fellow had a S&W Model 15 38 special 4 inch adj sites..hang tag said 100 bucks. Bought that one without putting it down. I must admit that is is slightly really kinda ugly but it is tight and shoots well. Made another buy that was kind of good. I sold a 590 Mossberg a few years back and wanted to replace it in some way...really wanted to replace it with a Benelli M-1 Super 90 slug gun...just for bear country. Traded a Remington 1911 even up for one that is essentially new. Slug bbl and extended mag tube. I think I got a great deal. I bagged up a yote in the yard already one night. It shoots slugs and 4 buck just great. Fastest operating shotgun I have ever shot. Been buying some bullet molds and reloading supplies for really cheap too. I got 5800 mostly large and small pistol primers with 3 lbs of powder for 25 dollars. Well actually about 2 1/2 pounds as one can was a 9 ounce of that Hodgdon Trail Boss powder. For another 35 dollars got 6 Lee Loader 4 Hornady die sets a Rem 1100/870 12 ga trap stock and a 4 cavity Lachmiller 41 Mag 220 gr bullet mold. 2 of the Lee Loaders were hard to find..one was 7.7 Jap and the other was 410 2 1/2 inch

I was recently trolling for a deal and came up with a hard strike. When I got done reeling it in I caught me a Marlin 336 35 Rem, a Ruger 77MkII 22-250 varmint, a Ruger 77MkII 243 with the flat paddle stock, a Winchester Super Grade M-70 in 338 Win Mag and a Beretta 391 Technys 12 ga. And to sweeten the deal got a Dillon 550B set up in 9mm. And I found 10 cases of Rem STS 28 and 410 skeet loads for a very good price

Did the Wy Weapons Collector show this last weekend and did ok. Bought a S&W 19-3 357 for a fair price. In exc condition. and a few months back I bought a S&W (pre model 27) 5 inch gun at a show for a fair price... about 600 bucks. Had some finish issues but was tight and a good shooter. Fellow had a new unfired S&W 57 41 mag in the presentation caseand wanted the 357 I had..so he gave me some cash and his 41 mag and we were both kinda happy. A 1970s unfired 4 inch 41 mag in the case is kind of hard to find...and I bought another 5 inch M-27 S&W in exc condition to replace what I traded. 5 inch 27s are getting hard to find and also getting spendy. I traded a new Win super grade M-70 for a really pretty Kimber Classic Select 300 Win Mag. Had to pay 'em a little cash extra...but boy it is pretty. Hope y'all have had a great Memorial Day. Remember the veterans!!

Hope everyone had a great 4th. I stayed home and watched the fireworks of 4 different towns...But went to a fellow's ranch. He called me about a few reloading items he had to get rid of... A few meant 1/2 a 40 ft tractor trailer load. And yes...I did go crazy...and yes I did spend too much In fact I went over again yesterday and bought about 250 pounds of reloading bullets and a few thousand once fired and new cases. As fas as guns I bought only 2...one was a really nice Uberti Single action in the ol classic 44-40. The other was a real rust bucket 22 bolt action. It was in such bad condition I couldn't tell who made it and couldn't get the magazine out of it. It either had to be a Remington or a Winchester though. Turns out it was a Winchester 69 with a peep. And early one. Bore is just fine and after a good cleanup it shoots pretty good. I paid 35 dollars for it so not hurt at all. On Saturday I got a lot of commercial cast/sized/lubed handgun bullets for a dollar hundred. Got a new no box Dillon 650 with I think all the parts set up for 223/5.56 price was 200 bucks. I was cleaning the grudge out so I could park a car in there(the American dream)...but that has gone by the wayside for a bit. Got 8 8 pound kegs of 700X Unique and Herco fir 60 bucks each...I am keeping one Herco and one Unique for myself. Got enough bullets to load all the 4000 or so 38 sp brass I have.

Just got a moldy oldie...traded for an old Winchester M-54 Bolt gun in the late great 30WCF. Don't see toomany 30-30 bolt actions. This one has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount so I can shoot pointy bullets out of a 30-30 with a scope on it.
