my mule deer

I got on the 3rd rifle season in unit 82 in colorado near zapata falls. He was only 65 yards from the road. took him with my 264 wm using 140 gr xlc ahead of 65 grains of IMR7828. The outside spread is 30". He weighed 289lbs already enjoying the meat. The sad thing is that he was not the buck i wanted. He was the last choice on the last day of the hunt. The first picture is of mysef and the second one is my dad.

Mighty considerate of the deer to be so close to the road

Nice buck! I wouldn't let him go past, and if he was close to the road, so much the better!
