I haven't been for two years now. When is this year's show? I might just make the drive up there since I live a little closer now. Instead of it being 3 hours, it will only be 2 1/2. Of course, the last time I went I spent more than I should. That might get me a frying pan across the head from the fiance nowadays. Just kidding, I don't think she would have a problem with me buying something I really wanted. Plus, I am going to be in the market for a new rifle this summer and I am debating several different manufacturers. Might be nice to actually see some of the guns up there.

I might go.
The last number of years the Show has been turning into a flea market.
Fabs, if you want to see lots of guns, go to Cabela's. No entry fee and parking is free with no shuttle buses needed.
Just call ahead to make sure they have what you are looking for.

Skinny,

That is probably a better idea. I was over at the Cabelas store in early April of last year, but I didn't get to spend as much time there as I had hoped. They definitely have a great selection of guns; however, the fine gun room could be my downfall.

Hey, next time you go, give a shout. We could go dutch and grab lunch in their cafeteria. I'm real close to them.

Will do Skinny. In fact, the next time I am planning on heading out there, I will give you a call ahead of time and coordinate dates and times so that we can make sure we have a dutch lunch. By the way, what does dutch food taste like. LOL

Hey Skinny..
I'll be there on the 7th. Might be some new LR stuff to pick up. If nothing else, I can look at the Copenhagen gals and the new Trucks.

If I have free time on the 12th I will be hunting resident geese. I need to get some hunting in before the season closes out and my dog bites me. I am going to try and go this Saturday too.

It is kind of funny how I-270 used to be the divider for resident geese, then I-95, and now it is I-97. Pretty soon, anything that isn't on the Eastern Shore will be resident geese. Hopefully, that will happen for you guys sometime soon.

Went to the show in Harrisburg on monday. $5 parking was not bad and you better have your best walking shoes with you and a fat pocket if plan on buying anything. Got to see the outfitter we will be visiting in June which was nice. Displays are great with lots to see and plenty of ideas to spark the mind. If anyone goes, have a safe trip and a nice time..........support our sport..go

Born to be outdoors .....thanks dad

Must have missed you when I was there on Monday also, or you could have walked right by me and didn't know it!

Brought the wife and youngest. Talked to a bunch of people, ate a soft pretzel, watched a dog show while I ate, saw the Skoal girls... it was a pretty good day

I spent all day talkin' to the outfitters and the optics people. Didn't eat a soft pretzel, didn't see the Skoal girls and didn't even get one of them free chairs the Chevy guys were giving away. 500 in the morning and 500 in the afternoon, wouldn't you know it, I'm there in between times. I didn't see you there either Petey. Not too many guys around the Hart booth . The fishing charters and boat section was dead. Bought another pair of Frogg Toggs and came home. Nice day for a ride.
