Not quite hunting wheels BUT

This weekend I was GIVEN a Kawasaki KZ1000 Police Special late '80s model that has been sitting under a tree since '91. . . . . . . Wiring Harness shot (Half eaten by a horse to be exact), engine needs a rebuild, and I am seriously considering making a chopper out of it. . . . . any ideas, help, etc?
