Spring Turkey
I was driving on the New York State Thruway this weekend. I was about 1 hour west of Albany when I came to a section of highway that had a large wooded section between the east bound and west bound roadways. I was passing a car so i was in the left lane going about 75mph. It was just after sun up. I was driving when al of a sudden I see a turkey flying out of a tree in the wooded area straight at my car. I hit the brakes there was nothing I could do. It flew into my truck and hit just above the front wheel, it then hit my side view mirror and folded it in and then bounced to the ground. I couldnt belive it. I got off at the next rest stop and this is what I saw...
