Saskshooter, it's your lucky day. And welcome to HuntChat.

Clint Starke made Red Prairie bullets and he then sold the business to Richard Graves of Wildcat Bullets.
Here is a link to his info: http://www.wildcatbullets.homestead.com/ContactUs.html
That site is a temporary one till his real site: www.wildcatbullets.com is up and running.
He's a great guy to work with.
I have a few hundred of the .224 55gr RP HP bullets and they are devastating on groundhogs.
Btw, the new name for red prairies are "bucketmouth bullets".

BLESS YOU SKINNY

I COULDN'T THINK OF THAT GUYS NAME, STARKE, TO SAVE MY SOUL. THEY USED TO BE LOCATED JUST DOWN THE ROAD FROM ME. I SHOT A SLEW OF THEIR BULLETS. GOOD STUFF. I GUESS I DIDN'T SHOOT ENOUGH TO KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS THOUGH.

BYE THE WAY, DID YOUR BOLT HANDLE FALL OFF YET?

WHAT ARE YOU USING FOR A VARMINT LOAD IN THE .308? I JUST BUILT ONE AWHILE BACK AND HAVEN'T GOT TO DO A WHOLE WITH IT LATELY. A FEW WEEKS AGO I WAS FELLING FROGGY SO I PACKED UP THE CROSS COUNTRY SKIS AND MY HORNET AND WENT OUT IN SEARCH OF WILEY.

FOUND WILEY AND ALSO HAD A BACK SPASM. SURE GLAD I WASN'T TOO FAR FROM THE TRUCK OR I WOULD HAVE BEEN SOL. I DON'T THINK MY BUDDY WOULD APPRECIATE A CELL PHONE CALL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AFTERNOON TO COME SWEEP ME UP OFF THE PRAIRIE AND TAKE ME HOME.

I GOT MY PROJECT GUN SHOOTING WELL WITH 168 GR HPBT'S BUT THEY ARE TOUGH ON GOPHERS. NOTHING LEFT BUT THE PAWS.

WHAT KIND OF SCOPE ARE YOU USING? I PUT A BURRIS 6-24 SIGNATURE MIL DOT ON MINE. AND OF COURSE WE HAVE THE ACI. A BUBBLE LEVEL AND A PULLOUT BALLISTIC CHART ON IT. BARELY HAD ROOM ENOUGH TO PUT THE SCOPE RINGS ON. BUT IT ALL FIT INTO A NICE LITTLE? PACKAGE. SO FAR I'M PLEASED WITH MY EFFORTS.

LET ME KNOW ABOUT THE VARMINT LOADS. THANKS.
