Well, I am surprised! I had no idea he was ill. I expect we'll be seeing more of the VN era troop leadership start to pass soon. The last time I saw him interviewed, he seemed likea reasonably healthy and vigorous person for his age.

I mourn the passing of any of my 'Nam brothers.
I know I'm lucky; the areas where I fought had hundreds of thousands of gallons of Agent Orange applied nearby. Not a single health problem that I know of has developed.
