Ruger 17

My son in law(hereinafter known as THE GOOBER) was at an auction last Sunday and let a Ruger 77 17 get sold for the grand sum of...get this...35.00. He will soon be the LATE son in law if I can get my hands on him. Even had a Bushnell Trophy scope on it. I am now tuning up a nice new 700CDL in 300 Win Mag that I just may use on him. And I am in the process of finding a 17 HMR to see what all the fuss is about...Dad gum goober!!

Even if it was a .22 in bad condition, I still wouldnt let a firearm get away for $35 bucks!

What was the opening bid? If I were auctioning off that gun it would atleast start the bid at $100. At least!

Looks like GOOBER is off the Christmass list..
