Post ban uppers

I know I asked this question before but it was a while ago: what are the laws governing the use of "pre-ban" accessories now the the Brady Bill has gone away? I have a post ban AR that I want a new upper for but I don't want to be in violation.

There are no federal laws against it, but what`s happening now is local governments are getting involved, like the "assault" weapons ban we just had in Ohio where the city of columbus passed an anti gun law. So you now need to make sure where you live has no laws against it.

Correct. Federally, it is now as if the assault weapons ban never existed. If your state hasn't passed new legislature, you can strap on an upper with bayo lug and flashhider.
