South Dakota update

Well this last week I went from one end of the State to the other and the pheasants were all over the place . Bring the dog as the cover is there for them also.

SW North Dakota was ravaged by a blizzard last week. 18-20" of wet snow with 40-50 MPH winds. Have seen a few barn yard pheasants left. Not much of anything else bird wise.

I saw you folks got blasted and we had it also in our area but nothing that hurt the birds. The real killer for the pheasants and storms is if the snow is wet and the temps are low enough that ice forms on the nostrils and they cant get air. We had plenty of summer cover for them to get into and this helped as to where if the birds are in the open Fall plowed fields they have a problem.
