Talking Man I love Wyo.

I stopped on the way home from work today and thought I would try out my new used TC barrel. I found my first target at 110 yards. I know this because I lazered it with my Leica LRF 800. I had zerod it last Monday at the range and had it to be on at 200 yards. I this barrel has never been bloodied by me or the previous owner it was only shot by him 27 times or at least that is what he claims. There was a head wind that was 15 mph with gust up to 25 mph. I held on the dawgs sholder and touched the 4 oz. trigger at the report I watched the dawg flip into the air about a 1½ feet, one shot one kill. His brother came out of a hole next to him 113 yards again I touched the trigger and the dawg flipped in to the air. My next target was ranged at 234 yards, wind coming slightly to the right held 6" into the wind and on the head of the dawg. Touched the trigger and the dawg does a 2 flips. Not bad for 10 minutes. You gotto love WY. If any one will tell me how to post a photo I'll do that.

Pics

Nice clear pics. Where in Wyoming are ya? BTW I saw how you tried to keep the picture of the pickup way in the back ground. I understand you're probably embarrassed cause ya don't drive a Ford. It'll be ok.. Sometimes we have to do things we really don't want to!!! hahaha

Skeet,

That was hilarious; however, I think that might actually be a Ford in the background. If so, I would have brought it in a little closer.

I was stationed in Wyoming for 5 years, loved every minute of it. If my parents hadn't of gotten sick, I would still be there, I guess.

Of course, you know they use a log chain for a wind sock.

wyoming is pretty cool. west to east border to border a few times but never hunted there, id like to some day.

i didnt think the wind was that bad. where im from were kinda immune to wind and dont notice it much.

glad you had the opurtunity to hunt with rocky. he realy is agreat guy. one the kind that makes you feel better for just being there with them.

Thumbs up

Evan:

Well the truck is light blue for the record. Yes, I do know what you mean about Rocky, he is just one of those people that keep my faith that the human race will be around for a while longer.

I worked for a good number of years just south of you on the NV side of the line. Had a great time there also. It is a great part of the world. Good luck on the hunt and let us know how you did.

im gona guess that truck as 93 or newer. if it was 89 or ealy 90s it would most definalty have flaking peeling paint. or now that i think about i dont think the blue on mine is flakeing.

anyways im alittle intrigued my eyes are leaveing me. i honestly cant tell what color your truck is.

where at in neveda were you.

where in wyomeing.

ohhhhhhhhhh my hunt went alirght called in more deer than i did coyotes but thats was cool. i was actualy trn to call for to other guys to get something to come in. i swear im the only observant one.

saw a buck and doe comeing from way of to call. almost sounds like fawn distress. watch them for awhile also watchn the two other guys. neither had any idea the deer were comeing till they got within 75yds and kept comeing.

it was cool i was calling behind them mmade the decision that i was just calling and they were shooting. those deer got so close to them cause they were keyed in on me. bet the two got to within 20yds before someoine moved wrong.

anyways yaba yaba i gota get to bed.

ill talk to you later. 4am comes way to soon

Well at least you got out and saw some game and had something come to the call. Sounds like you all had a good time.

As for the year of the truck it is a 92 and has nearly 400,000 it has gone thru a rear end and a new clutch, compression is getting weak so it maybe getting to that time when I have to make a decision.

I stopped on the way home tonight and made two stands didn't see any thing except for ravens and several hawks. Will try again maybe on Friday or Saturday. It is getting a little cool in the Green River Basin, which will hopefully make the yotes alittle more susceptible to the call.
