Tell us about your Thanksgiving

I have to say that ours was pretty darn good. Wife and I drove up to
Gainesville to spend the holidays with my son. He is 36 now, and has several small businesses there. His gf is a vet, and owns a nice farm north of town.
My Daughter came down from Jacksonville, taking a day off her real estate racket.
I was finally able to hunt with the little Ithica 20Ga Dbl. I took 4 nice Quail from the hay field. Boy that little dbl shoots good.
We also brought in Squirrel, Rabbit, and I took a fat little 6 point buck out in the swamp. My Marlin 30-30 336Y shorty with my handloads, did the trick, . The shot was from a tree stand, at just about 11 am. Range was 25 yards or so. The buck walked down the trail, and when shot, took two steps, and dropped.
We had about 18 people for a 3:00 feast. Smoked wild Turkey (also from the farm), smoked venison, venison Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon, all kinds of veggies (from the farm), breads, pies, cakes, and some exellent 'adult' beverages.
A afternoon hunt, and a lot of just sitting around talking.
This was probably the most traditional Thanksgiving I have experienced in years.
