18" 8 point, best I can do so far!
Although I've seen some nice ones, they just aren't jumping in the back of my truck this year. I still can't complain it's been an enjoyable season so far, and its still far from over.

That deer is nothing to sneeze at WT! Has some nice mass on it's main beams and is a bigger buck than some folks see in their respective neck of the woods.
Howdya take him? (Bow, M.L.???) Congrats!

|
I took him with the encore muzzleloader at about 25 yards. It had just snowed so I was hunting on the ground in snow camo, I saw him coming, and I was in the crown of a downed tree so I crouched down and walked up along the trunk of the tree, popped up over the root ball, rested my gun on the root ball, stopped him and let him have one in the neck, it all happened pretty fast. My brother helped me get him out, with the snow and all it was a memorable hunt. I wish I had more time to get better pictures but it just didn't work out so I took some right before I skinned him out last night.
