Oklahoma Fires

Been hearing alot about fires in OK,TX and NM. I have been invited to hunt north east OK this spring for turkeys. Has this area been affected by fires. Where in OK has most fires been concentrated. Could they affect the spring turkey season. I have seen areas purposely burn in the spring. How does one approach hunting these burn areas.

we are in southern oklahoma, and the fires have been a little rough. don;t have any responses yet on turkeys but the hogs are still here
