This is baked in hot coals of campfire. You need two metal pie pans with lips, soak 4 wooden clothespins in ziplock bag full of water about a week before going camping, (I alway soak extra clothespins) and take extra dry cornbread mix along, Mix up a batter of cornbread, pour into one pie pan , turn the other pan over to form top(Just like dutch oven) fasten soaked clothspins onto the lips of the two pan, (keeps ashes and debris out) place in coals and bake your cornbread. Fasten clothespins at 2,4,8 and 10 o'clock position on diameter of the pans.
