Do not know what to do... HELP
Recently, I bought two rifles and two scopes.
The rifles are a).- Remington 504 in 22LR caliber and b).- Remington 700 SPS in 243 caliber. The scopes are a).- Leupold VX-III 2.5-8x36 with B&C reticle and b).- Leupold VX-I 2-7X33 with Duplex reticle. Now, I do not know which scope use on which rifle???? scopes
VX-1 on the 22 and the VXIII on the 243. The VXI is a 2x7 and is almost the perfect scope to put on a 22. Leupold makes a couple of rimfire scopes and the variable is a 2x7 power. I have one. The VX III is also about the right power for a variable on a centerfire rifle.

Ditto on Skeets recommendation. Reason? You won't be shooting a 22 at the ranges you can a 243, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

The parallax on both those scopes is set for 150 yds and at 50 yds it can matter with the .22. Not a big deal but I had mine changed by Leu to 60 yds. I think it cost about $15 at the time.
