Question GPS for Geocaching

I'm starting to get into geocaching and I need a new GPS. I'm thinking a max of $300, I'd prefer color but it's not a necessity and I'm looking for one that will download caches from my computer and mark them on the map. I don't have a brand preference but I've heard the Garmins are a little more user friendly-any truth to this? My old Magellan works fine for getting me back to camp but it won't hook up the the computer and doesn't have maps. Any suggestions?

Why not try the Garmin etrex legend C.

I have the monochrome version, and it works great, I think the C model has expanded memory, as well as the color screen.

Tater,
I have a Legend that I've been using and it's compatible to down/upload waypoints, which is way nice after punching in a few. Garmin has the map system you can purchase which also lets you download tracks and routes onto your computer which is kind of cool as well if you ever want to see where you've been.

As a matter of fact, I did some research on my own and found that the Garmin eTrex Legend C looked like the best deal. Now it's been confirmed. I've been on this site since 2000 and nobody has ever steered me wrong so I think I'll go with it. Thanks guys.

You might check the promos I posted and see about a possible rebate on it as well.

I did. There are rebates for other Garmin gear but not GPSs.
