Burris Signature Select Scope

If you have a Burris Signature Select scope, 6x24x44, fine plex, with target knobs. How is the clarity and resolution? When its 90* and the humidity is 70% is the scope clear? When looking in the shadows is the resolution excellent? Would you buy another?

I bought 2 Burrius handgun scope, a 3x9 and a 1.5 x 4. They were factory referbes and both were junk. I swore I would never buy another Burrius again. I did buy a .500 S&W Preformance center gun that had a Burrius 2.5 x 7 on it and it seem to be a real good scope with the limited amount of use I`ve given it, but I haven`t grouped it on different powers to see if the point of impact moves, which was the porblem with the 3 x 9. I`ll probibly end up putting a 2.5 x 8 Leupold on the gun and moveing the Burrius down the road.

I don't have a 6-24 Burris, but I do own a few Burris Signatures, and I consider them outstanding scopes. IMO, they are as clear and sharp as anything in the same price range.
Now, as far as

No scope is going to remove humidity from the air. Under those conditions, you'll see haze, no matter what you use.

I had the chance to look thru a Zeiss yesterday, field conditions. WOW, what a difference, its a 6.5x20x50. Looking toward the Sun, edge of woods meets field, shadows. I could see everything, my scope which costs 3x less, blind, no shooting if I wanted to. I also looked at the mirage thru the Zeiss, WOW. Thru my scope the mirage is a blob, Zeiss clear, there was mirage but it was crisp, not near as bad. Then again I was comparing Apples to Grapes, when we were finished hunting I took my mongrel scope home. I would love to check out a Burris, Leopold under the same conditions. Thanks for the info guys! Just don't know which way to go!!!

The Zeiss Conquest, IMO, is THE best scope you can get at the 'popular' price range of a Leupold, Burris Signature, Weaver Grand Slam, Pentax, Bushnell 4200, etc.
When you're in that price range- say, 400$ for a 3-9.. whatever you choose is going to be excellent.
