new sling

Look what I just learnt how to do, I wanted to make me a rifle sling, but wanted somethin different from others, Soooo, I made me one usin the" three strand trick braid" ,, What ya think??

hobbles,

I think ya done REAL Good! How do you affix the sling to your ML and not obstruct your sight picture?

Oh, one more thing, as Columbo would say: How many slings are you going to make for all your frinds here? LOL.

Afternoon Adam Helmer

I have one of those you are referring to, It laces on the butt of the stock (you can't use your patch box) and it ties round the barrel, (can't sea the sight and can't put your ram rod back with out a hassle) so I got one of these commin in brass

That is one of the projects on my 'to do' list for my muzzleloading accoutraments....make a rifle sling and fancy it up with some Indian beadwork. However, the plan is to use it to sling my muzzleloader ONLY while my hands are busy doing something else, like draggin' out a deer!

Hay boys, I just received a post on nother board bout the leather braid url I posted, He was makin fun of the nipple stretcher,,, I got to thinkin how/why would you want to stretch a nipple? How would the hammer hit it? So I went back to the site and looked for it,, THEN I SEEN IT ALL.. I didn't know that was all there, I just typed in 3 strand trick braid, that url came up and I did what it said, I better read more next time, heck,, now I better go and get some more leather,,,
