Question Trius One-Step Clay Thrower

Anybody ever used a Trius One-Step clay thrower? Looks pretty cool, and I just might buy one. It's a little under $100.00 some places, and one person can launch clays and shoot at the same time, using a pedal that cocks and releases the clays.

Has anyone used one? If so, what do you think?

I have not tried that specific trap, but I have tried some traps that are pushed into the ground like that one and they leave something to be desired. They don't throw very hard/fast, and sometimes they end up coming out of the ground, which is a hassle. If you do get one, mount it to something heavy.

I prefer going to the clays range or shooting with a bunch of people and alternating on the hand throwers. You can really get those hand throwers zinging the targets.

I have one, bought it when they $69, so I've had it for awhile. They work just fine, have used it by myself. Major use comes for throwing a second bird in our pasture clays shooting, that way we get the 2nd bird comeing from a different angle.

trius one step trap shooter

Hi! I wondered if you bought this and what you think of it. I am trying to buy this for my husband for Christmas but would like to make sure it is worth it.
Does anyone else know? Or can anyone recommend to me an inexpensive trap shooter?
Thanks!
Also, does anyone know anything about laser boresighters?

Trius One Step Clay Thrower

I have tried most of the throwers and I like the one step the best. You can use it by yourself, which is very nice. It does not have to be stuck into the ground since you are standing on it. And it is priced right.Les.

I have had one like it for years. Does throw them pretty good but not like a regular machine. Its good for the woods or teaching someone to shoot. Still use it when the regular skeet field aren't open.
