Where's da wabbits?

Early on about June and July I was actually starting to have hope that we would see a good number of rabbits back, but for the last straight month it has been not hair nor hide. . . . I dunno maybe I aint holding my mouth right.

its been very dry here in North Florida, and the rabbit population has not been good.
I was out last week with my son, at a local farm. He walked one side of a fence row, and drove them over to me. I used my Ruger 10/22 to collect three of the critters.
They were very good served along with sweet potatos, collards, cornbread and beer.

They are all up here in Wyoming. Most of them live on my little ranch. Bet there are 500 in the 6-8 acres right around the house. Elmer should come up here. He might even be able to bag a wascally wabbit wight up!! hahahaha

Wabbits

Seriously GOB. I haven't ever seen so many rabbits in my life. Maybe there are rabbits like this in other places...but there is no real cover here like in most places I have been so maybe that is why there seems to be so many. You can SEE them. I went up to the bluff behind the house last night...rocks mind ya and saw at least 100 They were all over that bluff even up on the ledges(the bluff is about 200 ft high). Doesn't seem to be enough for them to eat up there..but they look fat and sassy.
