Reassurances re: new member names
Some of you have voiced concerns about certain recent new members. Specifically, that some new member screen names were related to porn.
Be assured that board management is on the case. We catch them about as soon as they register, and screen their profiles for links to inappropriate sites. New members must list verifiable email addresses before they may post in our forums, and so far all such dubious would-be members have failed to pass those verification steps. We cannot guard against people attempting to register as members, but we can and do take steps to prevent dubious people from posting. Also, please be assured that anyone who does sneak in and post prohibited materials or links will be immediately deleted and banned. HuntChat is dedicated to hunting, shooting and outdoors-related topics with family friendly posting. And we will remain so. I hope this relieves your concerns. Thanks and honors to all who have contacted us.

Oh my goodness have I played that game, my website on sex offenders got overun with this crap a few months ago.....I am not computer savvy but it seems someone sent a link to my stite for replies....I got alot of drug ads and alot of porn links....we put a strong registration in use, and they are registering, but cant post, along with that, I cant get real post directed at the site either, but my site is more information rather than dialogue, which is ok, the only thing that keep s me going is (1) some input from members here, and (2) its what I know the site count is enough to keep my head up.......
