Nikon "Buckmaster" 800 Range Finder. Anyone have this model?
I'm looking into buying the Nikon "Bushmaster" 800 range finder. My main question can it range deer size game and other non-reflective objects at 400 yd. Any info would be appreciated.

Nikon Buckmaster
The answer to the question is actuially...sometimes. It all depends on the background etc and the amount of reflectivity. Not a bad choice but the Leicas are definitely better. Uh...cost more too.

If the target is big enough and you can hold it study enough and on the target. For that range you almost need a tri-pod to study the range finder to get a good reading.
