Colts

1st generation new condition...forget it never happen...but waaayyy too much easily 5 figures new

2nd generation new condition is possible to find. anywhere from 1200 up (Box and papers etc) according to who wants it and how bad

3 rd generation probably about the cost of 2nd generation as most were made in the Custom shop I think
Now saying that I have seen some humongous prices at the gun shows around the Cody and Montana areas. Of course most of them were not being sold. The guys that own the nice ones have them to show off and for pride of ownership.

I happen to have a 1st generation blackpowder framed 38-40 in about 65% that I have turned down 3500 for. Maybe when 2 fools met but it was the first gun I bought at the age of 11...price was $15 I also happen to have a 2nd generation 45 7 1/2 inch gun(400 when I bought it) I shoot every now and then. Nice gun but really hard to shoot accurately
