Swappers Day in Johnstown Ohio

Hello Everyone,...

As is the norm,..Labor Day marks the last HUGE garage sale of the year,..and it is the right time to buy or even sell.

Johnstown Ohio host the Swappers Day @ The Johnstown Gun Club.You can purchase guns,of all models and makes and cal. and gauages.As well as crossbows,bows,arrows ,slings,cases and even art crafts and regular yard sale stuff.
Also on hand is the HOUND RUN,..and raccoon is placed in a cage and ran accross the pond on a rope and ran up a tree,..with Howling hounds close behind.
And also at the Swappers Day event,is an archery range where you shoot 3-d targets.
you`ll also have a chance to feed the gut as well as your hunting appetite.

I usually write about this every year,and every year I attend.

This is the last hoorah and the best time to get some real great deals on hunting equipment and other stuff as well.And if your looking for a hunting pup they have those there as well.
If you have a gun,bow,crossbow etc to trade ,bring along and see if you can trade up or out,..and even sale out right.
you will have to have a trigger lock put on when you enter the park,and local law enforcement is on hand to to just that for you.At no EXTRA cost.
I believe it will cost you about $5 to get in,..but it is well worth it.And it will take you all day to walk through and see everything.

Wolvie,
I have been going to the Swappers Meet for years. I have both sold and bought many guns there. Hopefully it will cool off by then. I hate walking around there when it's miserably hot out. When I tell people about the meet and how big it is. They seem to have a hard time imagining it.

I do know what ya mean about the heat.
I cant stand it much more,but I am confident that the Swappers Day event will be as it has for the past couple of years,..Decent.

I wont have any thing to trade this year ( so far I dont) ,but I will be shopping for another shotgun,(Cheapy gun),..and maybe even a 22 cal. or two.

I really like the cheap guns,...like bolt actions Sears and HR shotguns,..with the variable chokes on them.Those are the all around hunting guns.
I would love to find one in a 410 ga.But I have only seen them in 20 and 12 ga.
