ducks and more ducks

My Mt. goat hunt was a wash. My partner couldn't do it so I have been hunting ducks with a passion.

Based upon the picture, I would guess you are hunting ducks with a passion. Man, that is a lot of ducks. Are those pics from the same day, or are they from separate days?

We are allowed 10 per day, 30 in possession.

The first pic is my limit from last Friday and Saturday.

The second pic is from the weekend before (3 days) with 4 guys.

What species do you get in your area Kusko? Looks like they're still in early/summer pelage? I wanna do that in AK someday.

We get a wide variety. Most of our ducks are bluebills, widgeon, teal, shovelers, pintails, and mallards. We have killed as many as 9 species during a weekend. Our season is in September so our ducks are brown.

Man, when I just saw those pics again, I thought the exact same thing I did 3 years ago. You were hunting with some passion alright. LOL

I'm finally set up with a couple of top waterfowl guides in AK. We're having meetings tomorrow and Saturday. This season I'll be booking King Eider, sea duck, Brant and the like in AK. I'm hoping to take the Euro Wigeon and Aleutian GW Teal if I'm really lucky. We can hunt the King's in Greenland too.
