513T rem

I was just given a rem 513T by my father inlaw with redfield sights how does it shoot i dont know i have never shot it.

They shoot great. I happen to have a couple of 'em. Both DCM rifles. One is really nice...the other has been drilled and tapped for a target scope..but still shoots good. Both were Marine issues

I was told it come frome the dcm i dont know what branch.
Is there a way to find what branch yoused it?

Used 513 T

if it has a globe type front sight it was probably used by the Army or others . A post front sight will probably be a Marine rifle. Not cast in stone cause the military just bought 'em and sent them all over the country. Not quite as nice as a Remington M-37 or a Winchester 52 but still a nice rifle to train with. and as accurate as you will need it to be
