Wheres the bears?

I'm going fishing in may by the Churchill river here in Saskatchewan and I wonder if I could sneak some bear hunting with my 12 gauge. Are there any bears up there? If so I'll get my licence and, if I see one, I'll pop him. Thanks

There are lots of bears in that part of Saskatchewan. Make sure you check out the regulations about seasons.

You will be very fortunate to even see a bear because the forest very thick, and bears are not easily spotted. There are some bears that hang around campgrounds and town dumps, but that is not exactly "hunting", and some areas will be illegal, of course.

Where exactly will you be fishing? The Churchill River is a lot of territory.
