Tennessee to draw first Elk permits

TN game and fish (TWRA) recently announced they will hold their first ever draw for 4 Elk tags. Applications are available by going to their web site. One tag will be donated for auction. Hunts will be held in East TN.
Good luck,

The result of the Ky. elk herd not knowing where the state line is,benefits Tn. Hope this works for both states.
Good luck on draw.

Thanks guys. However, I didn't make yesterday's deadline as I've been trying to schedule something else. Seems like there's not enough time or money to do everything we'd like to do. I hope both of you have success in drawing and getting a good Bull.
Cheers,
gg

The donated tag is on Ebay right now and ends soon. Last I saw the bid was over $17,000! The money goes back into the Elk program (here) so I hope it keeps going. I'll try to post some pics or a link after the season ends in October.

Bid ended at $17,700 if I remember. Winning bidder was a local guy and friends with friends of mine who are going to guide and film for him. Good luck to all.
