Hi Guys!
I know what you're thinking this guys a Handgun addict!
But I got the 1911 Bug real bad I am having a ball shooting
these pistols with my reloads, so anyways a found a buy on
another 1911 I could not pass up here is a Picture of it.
It is a Para GI Expert in Stainless and after working out a
few jamming glitches (basically it was the factory mags)
It shoots Very Well!

I did change a few small things on it, I changed out the guide rod spring
for an 18 lb one added a full length guide rod with a shok buffer pad on it and
put on a set of Hogue Grips also I use KimPro Tac magazines for a jam free
shooting experience. Threw the factory Para mags away! Here is pic with wood grips on it.

Very nice pictures

I know what you mean about the 1911 fascination and picked up a mint Colt Mark IV Series 80 .45 ACP yesterday. Take care...

6.5,

I like the .45 ACP and have a few. My latest and best is a S&W 645 stainless with adjustable sights. It looks like a Hi-Power on steroids.

Adam,
I would like to see a picture of that S&W it sounds nice! Do you reload for your 45? I have started to use a different powder than what I used to , it is Winchester WST and I really like it Super Clean and good performance out
of 4.5 grs behind a 230gr FMJ.
Regards 6.5

Nice looking pistol. I've bought 2 Para's in recent years, a Carry LDA and a PDA. Almost the same pistol, nite, sights, ambradextrious safety etc, added. First one went to my son who is an active LEO as one of his off duty pistols. Anyway I like the Para's very much and also like the LDAs on the standard 1911 frames. Think you'll be very happy with it. I know one can not have too many .45s so my next one will probably be a mate to yours.
