Unhappy Do you ever want to choke your kids (with love of course!)

My daughter called me screaming, crying and sobbing. She haaaaad to come live with me. Mom is mean, brother is ruining her life.....blah-blah.

No problem, I even contacted my CPO and tried to get her on my orders, for the Kentucky move, and even tried to sell my VZ24 action just to have more cash for the pot, to move her here from Nurnberg.

THEN SHE TELLS ME SHE CHANGED HER MIND!

The orders weren't changed, so no problem.

But I had an offer for the VZ24 action. Thank goodness he couldn't com up with the cash! I almost blew it!

I need to fly to Nurnberg soon and do some serious butt kicking!

INow I know why my parents never smiled.

Sheesh!

Almost every other day.....give or take!

Wait until they become late teens/early college years.....there's a reason that we have "Man caves"!

I'm surprised that you haven't learned rule #3 about dealing with women:

"#3): If a woman says she want's something, wait 48 hours and ask her again if she still wants it. Chances are 50/50 that she won't. If she still wants it, get it for her.....chances are 98% that she'll want to exchange it after having if for one (1) week."

Here endeth the lesson!

Yes it is and will be tuff and then one day you will find they have had kids them self just hope they are ready and you are to.
My son went to some graduation partys today that kid wont be there at any and he should be haveing one if you die old and your kid is there and healthy you have done your job.
Let her no how you feal but tell her you love her becouse at the end of the day you can work it out.
We work hard every day we give are kids money and love and hope for the best we are all human.

My grandson who is 17 has discover my spare set of car keys. No license no experience nothing. Seems to like my jeep. I find the tank empty it moved full of garbage and he has no idea. Fixed his butt, put a club on it and said nothing. Time will tell.

Man teenagers are jerks. And for the record I was never a teenager.

I wish I had a dollar for every crisis my daughter has had in 39 years and two husbands. Every thing is a life or death emergency and near death experiance. Her daughter is a drama queen just like her mom. I moved her 5 times to home then back to her husband on the first go-round, that was 100 miles. Wore me out "next move is on you."

With the daughters you just let them have plenty of line and a light drag. Let the big fish jump and dance on the water, else the big fish will wear you out. Listen, say yes a lot, then do nothing, unless there are bruises, then go stop the fighting.

Jon, funny how you are trying to figure out the women. First off, don't take any sides because it will come back to bite you in the neck and 2' lower..somehow, it will all be your fault. I found raising 2 daughters, they and the situation changes faster than you can keep up with so don't be too quick with things..Just watch to make sure they don't get hurt (I have had to step in) and as had been stated elsewhere, just let them know you love them and will be there for them anytime...but keep your mouth shut. ....speaking of that, I wish my wife would..she just got out of bed, came in to yell at me and went back to bed and all I am doing is having a coffee, looking into all the interesting things on HC.(2AM)...just the nature of the beast and I think it is because they are missing those things..ah..what is it the squirrels will be looking for soon? Things have a way of working out.

Many times, wife too. They do work out. Daughter is a vet and, after Columbine, son is a EMT. Wife n myself will celebrate 35 yrs in October.Patience is a virtue! Hasn't been easy, but things will work themselves out.School deal taught me to be thankful of what I had.

Actually nope...

But I have had a few times I wanted to do it with MALICE aforethought. I can't believe some of the things my daughter has done... But you do have to understand..she's Blonde...her name is Jennifer...and her favorite color is clear...or so it seems....Oh and it's all my fault!!!
