How are we all doing in 2011 Season?

We're 1.5 weeks into the PA season here. I've been concentrating most of my time on Mentoring the kids. We have one buck in the freezer as my 8 yr old tagged out, and after the second one now (6 yr old daughter). I figured I'll get to hunt for myself around the first week of November. We've had minimal sightings so far, but I'm sure this weekend will be a crazy one as the early muzzleloader doe season starts.

Lets see pics or hear how you're doing.

I never did pull the bow out this fall. But have been out a couple times with my inline here. Nothing down yet.

I start on 10/17. I am so ready. Blinds are in, there are a few around. I normally wouldn't shoot anything this early but it is fun to be out. I rally hit it hard the first couple of weeks in November. Ready, since Jan 1, 2011.

It's been really slow early on... It started slow last year as well. Crop rotation is poor this year for some of the places I hunt, and sightings are poor as a result. Have passed up a few little ones, nothing worth mentioning in the antler department either.

Went out yesterday. Did see one set of horns in a swamp to far to shoot. Yotes are doing a job on this area but they are there. Check out surronding areas and there are a lot of beds around. Normally the early season is slow but really picks up in November. I hunt the entire season. We have a 2 buck and 1 doe limit. Looking for the rut to kick in and then it really gets interesting.
