Ruger SR-556E
Anyone have any experience with the Ruger SR-556E? I have a chance to pick one up this weekend and was curious about it since I've never handled one. I know Ruger makes good firearms; how does this one stack up? Thanks

Based on the ones I looked at they seemed just fine. If you get a chance to pick one up at a reasonalble price, go for it. It it doesn't work out for you I bet you can turn it over at a profit.

Tater,
They were a bit pricey when first intro-ed at about $1,400 but at that price now they would be a bargain. It is a piston AR and is noted as one of the piston guns that actually works. With the piston you have the major fault in the AR system removed, carbon blow back in the feed area. Ed
