Finding shells
It depends what is available and is a real crap shoot. I was looking for 12 gauge high brass for an upcoming pheasant hunt and found 16 gauge high brass which I can also use. So far it has not been too much of a problem finding shotgun ammo, just grab what you can and keep looking. All the best...

most of the box stores seem to keep a fairly comprehensive selection of shotgun shells.

I had to order them online, but i finally have Federal 20 gauge 2 3/4" 7/8oz #6 on the way. $77 for a case shipped, and I got the last one! Haven't be able to find any 2 3/4" 7/8oz #6 in several years. That's $7.70 a box! Little over 30 cents a trigger pull. Come on squirrel season! At least, good Lord willing, I will be able to keep some meat in the pot this winter.

I have not needed any shells in some time so have not shopped, but Wally World used to run sales this time of year, just before dove season. I just saw a bunch of shells stacked on the floor at the Alabama Farmers C0-0p in Florala.
