laser scope's
Has anyone tried out any of the Burris Eliminator Laser Scope's yet,i was wondering if it was worth buying one or not.They have three kinds now,the new one that came out has windage calculation.What are your opinons on this scope.

Not sure
Not sure how they work but they are ugly sitting on top of a gun. Its getting to the point that high tech is taking over our shooting. Just give me a plain duplex and I will be happy.

Usually the laser is a light source like a flashlight seen through pretty much a regulara scope. I use a standard 4x16 with a lit red dot center. I have one of those on my 6.5 Grendel, subsonic gun, not terribly happy with it, cause the critters can easily see it moving around.
I have a Photon 4.6 with its internal IR light and a seperate IR illuminator. It is much better because the IR light is not visible bu the naked eye. I just have not had time to get it setup yet on my 358 AR Subsonic gun just yet. These two are intended to hunt hogs with at night with a can. The top is the 358 and the bottom the 6.5 setups. Now perhaps the hogs will show up again. Ed
