Who uses a Bumper Hitch deer carrier?
Last evening we had a family reunion with venison as the main dish. It was NOT Edible! The five dogs on establishment refused to eat the venison. Being an old investigator, I asked the host about his preparation of the deceased deer on the grill. He shot the deer and within a half hour tagged and gutted the deceased. He then placed it on the National Store's deer carrier affixed to his trailer hitch on his dually diesel truck for the 6 hour drive home.
Walla! The deer rode just above the truck's exhaust pipe for SIX hours to provide a Marinade no man or beast could eat! How many other hunters place their deer on a deer carrier above and behind their exhaust pipe? SMART and edible, eh, wot? I suggest placing the deer IN the truck bed or on a FRONT deer carrier for edible venison. Adam

That's an eye opener........never would have thought about it. I gut and skin
and camp hang. Homeward......put in trailer enclosed in tarp....ice pack if needed. Dan

Interesting!
Don't know that I would have thought of that, either, but, a diesel fume marinade must be really something unique!
