Texada Island...hmm is that that big island right next to Lesquiti, home of BC Bud?

Yup, hunted those suitcase deer a few times myself. We call them suitcase deer because you can tie their front and back legs togeather, and carry them like a suitcase.

Hang my hat in Surrey B.C., but live for the wilds..

12GA guy.............a number of years back I was working out of Powell River and flying over Texada spotting maijuana grow operations. There were lots of them, and I don't imagine it has changed much. Some of the guys we arrested said they had a terrible time with the blacktails coming in and eating their cash crop!
