ok I'm...

...peed oed;
Watched all the news yesterday, 5 a.m. 'til 8 a.m. Hours of repetative reporting on Michael Jackson, hours of repetative reporting on Martha Stewart. So far I have watched 2 hours this morning...NO mention of Jessica Lundsford. Not on Yahoo either, had to do a search to find ANYTHING! Val you must be goin' nuts!
Think if some of us would pull up the contact us site at MSNBC.com and write a little email, that it would help? Mine is on the way.

Prayers for the family

OH What a world we live in. I fear what it will be for my grand kids to grow up the way things are going.

We just had a girl and her boy friend murder her 75 year old grandfather. He was one of the nicest men that I have ever known.

Fourth murder in this rural county in 8 months. Not counting a migrant that is unaccounted for after they found blood on the ground outside his trailer.

I just found this....

Archie Lunsford said Indianapolis authorities arrested him in 1954 on a pre-kidnapping charge during what he said was a custody dispute, Dawsy said. Four years later, he was again arrested in Indianapolis for assault and battery. And in 1959, authorities in Titusville, Fla., arrested him for attempted rape.

Lunsford told detectives no convictions came of the arrests, Dawsy said. However, the sheriff said the difficulty of finding old criminal records meant he could not immediately confirm the stories.

Archie and Mark Lunsford both have undergone lie-detector tests administered by sheriff's detectives and the FBI. Neither man gave answers that would prompt suspicion, Dawsy said.

Dawsy also announced the reward for Jessie's safe return has grown to $115,000. Atlanta Braves pitcher Mike Hampton, a Homosassa native, announced last week he was donating $25,000 for a reward.

Has there been any new developments? I don't get to watch the news much, but I haven't seen anything. Last night on "Without A Trace" there was a missing bulletin allert on her, so I don't guess they've found a body or anything yet.

Seems they are looking for a convicted sex offender by the name of Couey...he lived about a 100 yards from Jessica's house....no one knew he was there.....last sighting was in Savannah in a shelter...his picture is plastered all over the news...so it wont be long now....

My prayers and thoughts go out to all those affected by this tragedy.

Hopefully he is man enough to show them where her body is. There are to many of these creeps allowed back on the steets.

We had a simular thing happen here a few years back except he wouldn't tell where the little girls body was. He was convicted with out the body. A few years later her body was found by hunters. We have a rape crisis center named in the girls honor.

Val,

Thanks for keeping up with this case for the rest of us.

There is no way to inflict enough pain on this jerk to punish him properly. I would hope they hang him publicly immediately if not sooner.
He is probably using the location of the body as bargaining leverage to get life instead of the death penalty.
I don't know if there is the death penalty in Florida, but I sure hope so.
I pray for Jessica and her family and friends and a community that is been hurt for the pleasure of a lowlife.

John
