oklahoma hunter

we are in southern oklahoma, around durant, we deer hunt one week out of the year the rest of the time we have these dogs tuned in on hogs.

hunt deer

i got to hunt okla and kansas again this yr didnt get to scout much n kansas.bro had some trail cams up they work good got a couple of pic of some nice deer.one might make the book .but noone shot him .okla deer left truck at 7am walked about a mile had shot and killed my buck 156 bc and a doe by 7:45.my bro let me use his blind 2 sundays.while he sat in aonther blind.the last sun at 4:45 pm i got a nice 18 point buck spilt eye gruads scored 174 bc non typical.the last buck was a kansas buck

Still Hunting

I have a few pards who are still trapping Beaver, and dispatching some calf killing yotes. But that's about it for the sporters. Everyone else I know is NWCO ... year around event.

I only recently moved to OKC area of Ok in Sept. I've found different places to shoot but hven't scouted out places to start my hunting yet.
I have to say moving is a royal pain and I've got alot on my plate. Hopefully I'll be able to get a little of something in this year for me and the dog.

i live 2 miles from the okla border in kansas. 70 miles straight north of tulsa.
