Congradulation Rocky.

You'll enjoy. When the time comes post a pic, of the ultra sound

I posted my youngest grand child's first ultrasound on here. It was immediately replied by someone's ultra sound from a later trimester with the caption "Mine's bigger". Twas kind of fun.

Have all 7 of mine here from last Friday till after the 4th. The family room looks like an encampment.

You have many things to look forward to....

I am a new father. Even though I can't imagine a joy greater than fatherhood, my dad says being a grandfather is tenfold. Congratulations.

Congratulations Huntingvet. Seems as though I am the only one missing the party.

Congratulations Rocky!

Fabs.. The fun part is making them

When the time comes though, if you've never learned anything from me, listen to this one sound piece of advise (provided it's a natural birth). Rocky you can pass this on to the Son-in-law too.

Absolutely positively give her ONLY 2 (TWO), again two..... fingers to squeeze. Giving her only your forefinger and middle finger ensures that your hand will not be crushed into liquid jelly. The vice grip that a woman has during this time is unreal and when you give her 3 fingers or your whole hand she'll smash your wedding ring into your pinky and middle and you wont be able to wave "hello/good-bye" right for a week . Condition yourself only to give her two even if it's your right hand, b/c when you have to give her your left and forget...it's TOO LATE. You women have some kind of superman strength that I'll never understand. I think I still have indents in my middle finger from my wedding ring, because I made the mistake of giving her 3 fingers and our first son was born over 3 years ago!

Petey, this is VERY true. When my daughter was born my wife crushed my hand like it was paper. I mistakenly let her hold all four fingers. The thing is, she has very weak hands. Guess that shows how bad labor pain can be.
