This picture is from a duck hunt his first year. He was about 6 months old at this time and had already had a couple mallard and wood duck retrieves. We didn't see a single thing this day, which was somewhat depressing.

Nitro is so cute! Of course I'm partial to Labs.

I have to say the one of him in the Halloween costume is priceless. Too funny.

Thanks for posting the pictures.

I smell Photoshop.

Or maybe Crazy Glue.

Without the horns, I bet he'd be a really pretty dog.

Ok, I guess that photo was embellished. Old Sam passed on two years ago, I still miss him.

He was very cute. Looks like he was cuddly too.

I think you always miss the pets you've had once they're gone. You often don't realize how big a part of your life they were.

Airedales, Drahthaars and such always look so serious. You almost expect them to be wearing a deerslayer hat and have a Meerschaum pipe hanging out of their mouth.

I can do this...

Here's one of Jack celebrating his 8th B-Day back in May '07. White cake with bavarian creme filling and whipped cream frosting....his favorite....mine too!

Just Jack wondering what the heck I'm doing now.

Jack in his hidee-hole at our duck blind. An Aleutian Goose that he just retrieved above him...

Another Pic at our blind on a slow bluebird day in the rice.

Here's a Video of Jack fetchin' up a sodee-pop for his Papa! Just click on the Pic and it'll start the video.

You give your dog birthday cake! We used to do that too and everyone thought we were crazy. The dogs always loved it though.

Jake is beautiful. He's also obviously quite smart. I love the soda fetching video.

Well....he got to lick the corner at least! He was pretty nervous in that shot cuz he knows he's not allowed to sniff at food on a plate or on the counter but we bend the rules for special occasions.

That's a pretty dog.

Even though I know dogs with long fur usually shed more, they always look so cuddly.
