In one word no. The collet being discussed is the thingy that the rod goes through and swages it to holds it in place.

Usually when tightening it when your elbow pops out of joint and you find your testicles in your socks it's tight enough.

Smart idea Rocky, but I'm angry cause I didn't think of it.

get a good reloading manual that explains the basic steps of reloading...and read it.
The Lyman manual is particularly good for that purpose.
